It begins

One day after their season finale, the Los Angeles Kings have axed general manager Dave Taylor. TSN is reporting that Dean Lombardi will be named as his replacement. More on this later.

He had to know it was coming with the way they finished the year. He tried to fix it bringing in the guys from the Islanders but they didn't do squat.

All true. He also fired his coach and that didn't wake the team up, either. Throw in his lack of playoff appearances and it doesn't add up to much of a reason to keep him around.
